“Ministry of Investment” signs an agreement with Advanced Medical Company (ABMI) to enhance the flexibility of supply chains
With an investment volume of 120 million riyals, in the presence of Al-Falih, Al-Jalajel, and Al-Khorayef.
During the World Health Exhibition, the Advanced Medical Industrial Company (ABMI) signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the Ministry of Investment aimed at enhancing the flexibility of supply chains in the Kingdom and developing local manufacturing of advanced medical devices and supplies in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, with an investment amounting to 120 million riyals.
This came in the presence of the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, and the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef.
The agreement includes services, medical technology and digital health. Engineer Ghassan Zaatari, CEO of the company, explained that the agreement includes opportunities to localize the advanced medical device industry, which includes heart diseases and surgery such as stents, general surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology, by bringing in international companies that have an interest in manufacturing medical devices and supplies.
